Grant Overview
The 2025 Mental Health and Climate Change Grant, part of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Global Health Initiative, is offering grants between $250,000 and $2,000,000 to support innovative medical research projects addressing the mental health impacts of climate change.
This initiative aims to improve Australians' health and wellbeing by developing scalable and sustainable interventions that mitigate climate change’s mental health effects. Funded projects must be co-designed with consumers and health services to ensure practical, impactful outcomes.
Applications are open from 12 February 2025 to 23 July 2025.

Non-government organisations
Educational institutions
Health organisations
Other approved MRFF Eligible Organisations
No DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status is required, and co-contributions are not specified by the provider.
